Teeth Cleaning
A professional cleaning typically includes scaling (removing buildup above and below the gumline), polishing (to remove surface stains), and flossing to ensure all areas between the teeth are clean. Regular cleanings—usually recommended every six months—are important not only for maintaining a healthy, bright smile but also for detecting early signs of dental problems before they become more serious.
-
Crowns
A dental crown is a custom-made cap placed over a damaged or weakened tooth to restore its strength, shape, and appearance. The procedure involves reshaping the tooth, taking impressions, and placing a temporary crown while the permanent one is made. Once ready, the permanent crown is carefully fitted and cemented in place, providing long-lasting protection and a natural look.
-
Veneers
A dental veneer is a thin, custom-made shell bonded to the front surface of a tooth to improve its appearance. The procedure involves lightly reshaping the tooth, taking impressions, and placing a temporary veneer if needed. Once the final veneer is ready, it is carefully fitted and permanently bonded, enhancing the tooth’s color, shape, and overall look for a natural, long-lasting smile.
-
Fillings
A dental filling is a common procedure used to repair a tooth damaged by decay. The process involves removing the decayed portion of the tooth, cleaning the area, and filling it with a durable material such as composite resin, amalgam, or porcelain. This restores the tooth’s shape, function, and strength while preventing further decay.
-
Root Canal Treatment
A root canal is a procedure to treat and save a tooth with infected or damaged pulp. The dentist removes the infected tissue, cleans and disinfects the root canals, then seals the space to prevent further infection. This treatment helps relieve pain and preserve the natural tooth.
-
Extractions
Dental extractions involve the removal of a tooth that is damaged, decayed, or causing crowding. This procedure may be simple or surgical, depending on the tooth’s condition. Extractions help protect your overall oral health and may be recommended when a tooth cannot be restored or is impacting surrounding teeth.
-
Bridges
A dental bridge is a restorative treatment used to replace one or more missing teeth. It consists of one or more artificial teeth anchored in place by crowns attached to the neighboring natural teeth. Dental bridges help restore your bite, improve your smile, and prevent shifting of surrounding teeth.
-
Dentures
Dentures are removable dental appliances used to replace missing teeth and restore your smile. They come in full or partial sets, depending on how many teeth are missing, and are custom-made to fit comfortably and function like natural teeth. Dentures improve chewing, speech, and facial appearance, and are a popular solution for restoring oral health and confidence.
